Mom’s Choice Instant Kheer Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup instant rice kheer mix (available from Mom’s Choice)
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios, cashews – your choice)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • Saffron strands for garnish (optional)
  • Rose petals for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, heat 2 cups of whole milk on medium heat until it comes to a gentle boil.
  2. Reduce the heat to low, and slowly add the instant rice kheer mix to the milk, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  3. Add 1/4 cup of condensed milk to the mixture and stir well. This will enhance the creaminess and sweetness of the kheer.
  4. Keep stirring the mixture on low heat until it thickens to your desired consistency. The kheer will continue to thicken as it cools, so keep that in mind.
  5. Once the kheer reaches your desired consistency, turn off the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  6. Stir in the chopped nuts and cardamom powder to add flavor and crunch to the kheer.
  7. You can serve it warm or chilled, depending on your preference. If serving chilled, refrigerate the kheer for a couple of hours before serving.

Note:

The instant rice kheer mix from Mom’s Choice already contains sugar, so additional sugar may not be required. However, you can adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding more condensed milk or sugar if needed.

Mom’s Choice Falooda Recipe –

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup falooda sev (vermicelli)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons rose syrup
  • 1 tablespoon sweet basil seeds (sabja seeds)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped mixed nuts (almonds, pistachios, cashews)
  • 1 tablespoon dried rose petals (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream or kulfi (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Soak the sweet basil seeds (sabja seeds) in water for about 10 minutes until they swell up. Drain the water and set the soaked seeds aside.
  2. Cook the falooda sev (vermicelli) according to the package instructions. Once cooked, rinse them in cold water to prevent sticking, and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, heat the milk and bring it to a simmer. Add the rose syrup and mix well. Let the milk cool down in the refrigerator for a while, or you can also add ice cubes to cool it down quickly.
  4. Take serving glasses or bowls and start layering the falooda. Begin with a layer of the soaked sweet basil seeds at the bottom.
  5. Add a layer of the cooked and cooled falooda sev (vermicelli) on top of the basil seeds.
  6. Pour the chilled rose-flavored milk over the falooda layers, filling the glasses about two-thirds full.
  7. Sprinkle the chopped mixed nuts over the milk layer.
  8. Optionally, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of the nuts for an extra creamy and indulgent touch.
  9. Serve the Falooda immediately, and enjoy this refreshing and delightful dessert.
Note:

You can also add chopped fruits like strawberries, mangoes, or bananas to the falooda for an extra fruity twist. Customize it to your taste and preferences!
